Twelve grandchildren, Justin Robert, Nathan Mickel, Austin Scott, Brayden Jo, Hunter Cole, Carson Thane, Kyla Sha, Tyler Jay, John Douglas, Tucker Charles, Derek Stephan, and Emily Morgan and eleven great-grandchildren. Sons, Shane Mickel (Miranda) of LaCrosse, Kansas, Terry Duane (Heather) of Satanta, Kansas, and Tony Leon (Michelle) of Virginia Beach, Virginia. He is survived by his partner of eighteen years, Faye Northern of Meade, Kansas. Personal condolences may be given to the family at John Alvin Bond, the sixth child, fifth son, of Charles Vinton and Lena (Schell) Bond, was born January 23, 1947, at the home in Stark, Kansas.
